Time heals all wounds, this we know. But so often are the scars left behind overlooked. ‘The Goddess of Hearts and The Fool of Hope’ charts the journey we all have felt in our lives; the memory of the euphoric highs of love, and the sombre melancholic nature of unrequital.

Written as flowing passages, one leading into the next, rather than a collection of singular pieces, the Author punctuates the poetry found therein with imagery of all that we have held commonplace during our own trysts with love and loss, from the storms and floods of gloom and despair to the warm sunhine of love and longing.
